History at Queens

One of my friends requested that I share things I’m learning in each of my classes at Queens. I have contemplated blogging a bit on that anyway, and Facebook doesn’t feel like a natural sharing ground for that to me, so I’ll write here instead.

For a background on how the MA programme (yes, I am starting to adopt British spelling) works at Queens, read this post. Basically I have four modules, and a 20,000 word dissertation. Two modules a semester, and then the dissertation next summer (though the modules gear themselves towards starting you thinking on the dissertation now, so I am already research for my dissertation).

So I’ll try to post regularly what I’m learning in Research Methods & Historiography, as well as perhaps things that are coming up in my research for my dissertation topic. If you’d like to follow this topic, I have created a category to file these posts under. It’s ‘History at Queens’ and you can see all the recent posts on that category by following this link. Right now this is probably all that shows up. But, in time, more to come. No worries.
